Thank you Erika and Brenda for sticking you necks out and giving the trivia questions a shot.... You both did an excellent job!!! Congratulations, you will be rewarded with points towards the prize package from mywoodenrobot!!!

The correct answers are:
1.) Copper is correct.
I sell cookware from my website ( no, this is not a sales pitch ) and part of what I do is research. I have found through hours of searching the web that the four top metals for cookware are all good conductors of heat. In the order of highest to lowest is as follows. #1 is copper, #2 is aluminum, #3 is cast iron and #4 is stainless steel. I will be posting some of my cookware articles soon on my page for you to check out.

2.) 165 degrees F is correct.
Salmonella is the biggest worry when working with poultry and although most bacterias grow on the surface of meats it is always wise to make sure the inside is safe as well. 165 degrees F is hot enough to kill the bacteria. ( great job Erika and Brenda both of your sources are correct ).

3.) 40 to 140 degrees F is correct.
This is called the "danger zone", the temperatures where bacterias can grow and multiply easily and rapidly. Meats, poultry, fish ( and shellfish ) and dairy products are most susceptible in these temperatures. Real mayonnaise can also be a problem since it is made with raw egg. Great job on your research Erika!
